The aim is to get you to a level of health so that you will eventually only need infrequent treatments, perhaps once or twice a year. Homeopathic remedies cannot cause addiction or dependence because only a very minute amount is used in a specially prepared form.

• An initial consultation with a homeopath will last about one and half-hours. This is for the homeopath to gain a detailed understanding of who you are, along with any complaints.
• Your homeopath will also ask questions about your energy, your family history and your work as well as your own medical history. Everything is treated in the strictest confidence.
• Your homeopath will prescribe a single remedy with the aim that this remedy will stimulate your body's own healing system and improve your immunity.
• Your homeopath will invite you for a follow up appointment about four to six weeks after the remedy has been taken to check on the effectiveness of that remedy.
• Monthly appointments may be required for a while to check on your progression when the remedy may be altered or changed in potency.
• After the initial consultation appointments last about half an hour.
• Between appointments patients are able to phone the clinic should they wish to discuss any aspects of their case or changes they are feeling as a result of the remedy.
